Question 1

Are your Jacksonville Beach rentals truly pet-friendly?

Accepted Answer

Yes — every home tagged here welcomes dogs. We charge a flat per-stay pet fee (no per-night surprises), provide fenced yards or close beach access, and stock fresh towels for sandy paws. Dogs only — cats and other pets are not accepted.

Question 2

Are dogs allowed on Jacksonville Beach itself?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Dogs are allowed on the sand year-round, on a 6-ft leash from 9am–5pm and off-leash before 9am and after 5pm. The wide hard-packed sand and shallow surf make it one of the most dog-friendly beaches in Florida.

Question 3

How many dogs can I bring?

Accepted Answer

Most homes allow up to 2 dogs. Larger groups, or homes with size limits, are noted in each listing. Service animals are always welcome and never count toward the limit.

Question 4

Are there breed or size restrictions?

Accepted Answer

We don't enforce breed restrictions, and most homes accept dogs up to ~75 lbs. A few owners cap at 50 lbs — that's called out on the property page before you book.

Question 5

What about pet supplies, vets, and dog parks nearby?

Accepted Answer

South Beach Park has a fenced dog area, and Dogwood Park (10 min) is the largest off-leash park in NE Florida. Pet Supplies Plus and a 24-hour emergency vet (BluePearl) are both within 10 minutes of Jacksonville Beach.
